Shariful Islam Hasan

Shariful Islam Hasan has extensive experience in journalism and program management, currently serving as Associate Director at BRAC since July 2017, where responsibilities include managing the BRAC Migration Programme and BRAC Youth Platform. Prior to this role, Shariful was the Head of the Migration Programme and Senior Reporter at Prothom Alo from December 2005 to July 2017, accumulating twelve years of hands-on experience in one of Bangladesh's most prominent newspapers. Earlier, Shariful worked as a Copyeditor at bdnews24.com from January to November 2005. Educational qualifications include a Noma Regional Masters in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Dhaka (2008-2010) and a Bachelor's degree in Social Science with a focus on Peace and Conflict Studies from the same institution (2002-2006).
