Susanne Decker is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial institutions and risk management. Currently serving as the Director Financial Institutions Asia & EMECA at DEG since April 2014, Susanne also holds the position of Vice President Financial Institutions Equity Global Markets and is a member of the New Work Core Team. In addition, Susanne has been a member of the Supervisory Board at BRAC since February 2021. Previous roles include Head of Risk Management at ProCredit Bank (2012-2014), General Manager at ProCredit Bank Ukraine (2006-2011), and Chairperson of the Management Board at ProCredit Bank Bulgaria (2003-2006). Additional experience includes senior consulting at IPC - Internationale Projekt Consult GmbH and a foundational role at ODDO BHF. Susanne holds a degree in Volkswirtschaft from The University of Bonn and has studied at the State University St. Petersburg.
