Upoma Husain

Upoma Husain is the Chief Executive Officer of BRAC Rwanda Microfinance, leading efforts in financial inclusion and economic empowerment for women with over 13 years of experience in various developing countries. They have managed impact and social performance across microfinance entities in Africa and have contributed to significant projects aimed at poverty alleviation and agricultural development. Upoma holds a Master of Global Human Development from Georgetown University and a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Dhaka. Their expertise includes microfinance, project management, and strategic development, supported by a strong background in quantitative methods and data analysis.
