Bert Cox

Bert Cox serves as the Maintenance Supervisor at Bradken since February 2024, overseeing operations in a large tool machine shop with a focus on Double Column CNC, Horizontal Mills, Overhead Cranes, and ITAR compliance. Prior to this role, Bert held the position of Printing Manager at News-Press & Gazette Company from June 2012 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing Pre-Press, Printing, and Building Maintenance while achieving a 40% reduction in manpower costs and a 196% increase in press availability through lean principles. In addition, Bert contributed as a Board Member for the Engineering Technology Department Advisory Board at MWSU from February 2012 to February 2018. Previous experience includes Night Shift Supervisor at Climax Manufacturing Company, Service Manager at Summit Truck Bodies, and serving in the US Army as a Specialist 14R Linebacker Crew Member, where a distinction was achieved as a Distinguished Honor Graduate. Bert holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Management from the University of Central Missouri.
