David Steele

David Steele has over 15 years of work experience in software engineering and development. David is currently working as a Principal Software Engineer at Brady Technologies, where they have been since March 2022. Prior to this role, they held the position of Lead Software Development Engineer at Brady Technologies from January 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Brady Technologies, David worked at Aggreko as a Technical Development Lead from March 2019 to January 2021. David also worked as a Senior Analyst and Application Developer from May 2018 to February 2019 at Aggreko.

David's earlier experience includes working at Bridgeall as a Senior Software Engineer from September 2015 to May 2018, and as a Software Engineer from March 2014 to September 2015. David started their career at The Indigo Lighthouse Group as a Junior ABAP developer from May 2007 to May 2008, and later held the roles of ABAP Developer from June 2008 to August 2009, SAP ABAP Software Engineer from September 2009 to December 2010, and Software Engineer from January 2011 to March 2014.

Overall, David has a diverse range of experience in software engineering and development, with a progression from junior roles to more senior positions.

David Steele holds a Masters degree in Multimedia Communications from the University of Paisley, attained from 2005 to 2007. David also holds a Degree in Industrial Design from Robert Gordon University, completed between 1999 and 2003. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Cosmos DB Developer Specialty in 2022, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in 2019, and various Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics CRM and software development from 2014 to 2015. David also obtained a certification in ASP.NET Core: Middleware from LinkedIn in 2018.
