Patrick Gadson

Patrick Gadson serves as the Co-Chair of Vinson & Elkins' Shareholder Activism Practice since April 2017, focusing on Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets, and is a member of the firm's Shareholder Activism Response Team. Additionally, Patrick is a Partner at Brady since January 2021 and has been involved with the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club as a New York Regional Leadership Council Member since November 2020. Prior experience includes being an Associate in both the Activist & Equity Investment Practice at Olshan Frome Wolosky LLP from April 2015 to March 2017 and in Mergers & Acquisitions at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates from October 2011 to April 2015. Patrick began professional career at AFSCME in 2007. Educational background includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from Columbia Law School (2009-2011) and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University (2002-2006), preceded by attendance at Orchard Lake St. Mary's Preparatory (1997-2001).
