Rodrigo Luques

Animator at Brafton

Rodrigo Luques is a Brazilian animator and creative director. Rodrigo started their career as a web designer at the age of 17, before eventually moving into video production. Rodrigo has worked on videos and animations for brands such as Santander Banking, Gillette, Petrobras, Mondelez, Centrum, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, P&G, TIM, UOL, Microsoft, and JCB.

In 2012, they became the creative director at Container Filmes, a video production company based in Sao Paulo. Rodrigo stayed in this role for nine years before moving to Brafton in 2021. At Brafton, they continue to work as an animator and creative director.

Throughout their career, Luques has always strived to become a director who can understand and help connect teams of different areas. Rodrigo's strong skills in motion graphics and video editing have helped him achieve this goal.

Rodrigo Luques has a background in cinematography and film production from the Academia Internacional de Cinema. Rodrigo also has a degree in journalism from the Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba. Rodrigo has advanced certification in cinematography from the Academia Internacional de Cinema, and they also have a certificate in English Studies from LSI Professional - Boston MA.
