Alan Lund

Dr. Alan Lund is an entrepreneur with extensive experience developing, scaling and implementing new technology in the materials and manufacturing space. Prior to Veloxint he co-founded Xtalic Corporation, where he raised venture financing, secured over $10M in non-dilutive development funds, and built the team that became a world leader in the field. He also provided technical leadership across R&D, scale-up, and roll out of the technology. Dr. Lund’s academic training was in the area of metallurgy. He received degrees in Materials Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (B.S.) and Northwestern University (Ph.D.), and spent three years as a post-doctoral researcher at MIT.
