Robbert Michael Hoekstra has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in finance, accounting, and management. Robbert started their career at Ernst & Young and worked in various roles including Manager at Transaction Advisory Services, Senior Executive at TAS London Office, and Auditor in International Practice. Robbert Michael was associated with Ernst & Young from 2001 to 2013.
Robbert Michael Hoekstra attended St. Stanislas College from 1990 to 1996, where they studied at the Gymnasium level. Robbert Michael then went on to receive their Master's Degree in Financial Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam, graduating in 2001. Following that, they pursued a Post Master degree in Financial Assurance and Accounting at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2001 to 2008.

BRAIN Biotech AG is a leading European supplier of biobased products and solutions such as enzymes and proteins, microbial production strains, natural compounds and biotechnological solutions for more sustainable industrial processes. We focus on the fields of nutrition, health and environment. BRAIN Biotech AG is the parent company of the international BRAIN Biotech Group. The BioProducts segment comprises the product business with specialty enzymes and other proteins, for which the Group operates fermentation facilities in the United Kingdom and production facilities in continental Europe and the United States.
