Brain Care is a private psychology practice in Tweed Heads and Robina. Here, we combine the proven benefits of psychotherapy, with the science behind qEEG and neurofeedback (also called EEG biofeedback, neurotherapy or neuromodulation). Each psychologist is trained to tend to a range of mental health care issues and neurodivergent people's needs. Our services include psychotherapy, psychology, counselling, reports and assessments, and telehealth for children, teenagers and adults. An NDIS provider, we also welcome Medicare, Private Insurance, Workcover, and EAP. Brain Care (previously Solstice-Mind Matters) was established in 1992 to meet the needs of families, individuals, couples and families who want to take ownership of their lives.

Psychotherapy offers great tools for developing coping strategies, but it is not always enough when problems are persistent. In contrast, qEEG Brain Mapping and Neuromodulation are science-based processes that uncover an individual's brain function in a far more specific and comprehensive way than traditional questionnaires and assessments.

However, the same occurs the other way around, and while Neuromodulation produces measurable results, patients and their families still benefit greatly from counselling to support them through the challenges they may face during their journey. Therefore, we offer individualised programs which combine both psychotherapy and neurotherapy for optimal results.
