Taylor Brockman has worked in a variety of roles in the software industry since 1999. In 1999, they began their career at Motricity, Inc. as a Tech Research Architect, Development Manager, Software Engineer, and CTO. In 2008, they moved to Benefitfocus as a Business Systems Architect and Product Manager for Financial Data Services. In 2010, they joined Landis+Gyr as an Enterprise Software Architect responsible for SOA architecture and integration, data ingress, analytics, and forecasting, and User Interface design and engineering. In 2013, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Causam eXchange, where they designed products and solutions to help consumers, generating utilities, communications carriers, retail electric providers, distributed generators, and commercial customers harness the power of an intelligent energy framework. In 2017, they moved to Patent Forecast as the Chief Technology Officer and has since been responsible for managing the changes to US Patent law since 2013. Finally, since 2011, they have held the role of Chief Technology Officer at Brain Power Software.
Taylor Brockman attended the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics from 1997 to 1999, where they completed their high school education. Taylor then returned to the same school in 2018, where they currently serve as the Vice Chair of the Foundation Board.
