Nir Apelbaum

Nir Apelbaum is a seasoned professional in industrial design and mechanical engineering, currently serving as Principal Designer & Mechanical Engineer at brain.space since January 2019. Prior experience includes a role as Chief Designer at Keter Holdings, where Nir led the 'KETER e-bike' project from concept to manufacturing, utilizing mold-injection technology. As a self-employed freelance industrial designer from 2012 to 2019, Nir specialized in plastic products for consumer electronics and collaborated with clients such as Spaceek, NovelSat, and Aquarimat. Previous positions at Keter involved significant contributions, including the development of the world's first electric bicycle using mold-injected technology and leadership in over 30 projects. Nir holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design.
