Sujit Roy

Sujit Roy, Ph.D., is a Computer Scientist currently serving as a Lead AI Researcher at NASA-IMPACT and NASA, with experience in AI research and applications in geospatial foundations. As Co-Founder of BrainAlive, Sujit manages technology and operations, while previous roles include AI Engineer at DeepReel and Machine Learning Researcher at The University of Manchester, focusing on explainable AI for drug misuse and fintech. Sujit has also held positions in software engineering and research at major institutions, including the Indian Institutes of Technology, contributing to advancements in robotic control, holography, and algorithm development. With dual Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and Ulster University, Sujit combines expertise in AI and computational neuroscience.
