BrainBoost
Jasper Roelofsen is the founder of BrainBoost, established in June 2017, where the focus is on guiding students to develop lifelong skills alongside achieving good academic results. As a self-employed artist since September 2013, Jasper provides guitar and vocal coaching to musicians of all ages. From January 2017, Jasper has been the singer for The Last Element. Jasper has held various teaching positions, including biology and chemistry instructor at Calandlyceum Amsterdam and biology and NLT teacher at Helen Parkhurst Daltonschool. With a background in education and research, Jasper previously worked as a researcher at the Instituut voor biodiversiteit en ecosystemen, studying malaria parasite dynamics. Jasper also founded the educational platform Voorbereiding Hoger Onderwijs (VHO), aimed at enhancing students' metacognitive skills and autonomy. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Biological Sciences and Interfacultaire Lerarenopleidingen from the University of Amsterdam.

BrainBoost
BrainBoost is opgezet door jonge docenten die leerlingen graag willen helpen bij school. Bij ons krijg je les op een persoonlijke manier, waardoor leerlingen hun goede en minder goede kanten van leren gaan inzien. Dit zelfinzicht zorgt uiteindelijk voor meer zelfvertrouwen. Leerlingen vinden school daardoor minder ‘stom’ en ze houden meer tijd over voor de dingen die ze echt leuk vinden.
