Arjun Basak

Arjun Basak has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Arjun'smost recent position was at BrainBox AI, where they worked as an AI Controls Engineer since January 2022. Prior to this role, they were a Jr. AI Onboarding Engineer at the same company from August 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining BrainBox AI, Arjun worked at NanoXplore Inc. as a Process Engineer for a brief period from June 2019 to August 2019. Arjun also worked as a Process Technician at the same company from April 2019 to May 2019.

Arjun's earlier experience includes working at Engene Inc. as a Research Associate from May 2016 to March 2019, primarily focusing on Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls. Arjun also worked as a Co-op Student at the University of Ottawa, Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering from May 2015 to September 2015, conducting experiments related to optimizing biofuel production.

Furthermore, Arjun worked as a Design Project Student at McGill University in partnership with KSH Solutions Inc. from September 2014 to May 2015. Prior to that, they served as a Research Assistant at the Ottawa University, Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering from May 2010 to September 2013. In this role, they worked on research projects related to cell adhesion and performed tasks such as cell spotting, slide preparation, microscopic image analysis, and statistical analysis of results.

Arjun Basak pursued their education in a chronological order, beginning with their high school years at Colonel By Secondary School from 2007 to 2011. There, they successfully completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma and High School Diploma.

Following their high school education, Arjun attended McGill University from 2011 to 2015. During this time, they focused on their field of interest, Chemical Engineering, and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree.

Continuing to enhance their qualifications, Arjun obtained additional certifications. In April 2019, they earned the designation of "Ingénieur Junior" from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
