Ben Gill has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. In 1999, they started their career as an Accountant at BDO Chartered Accountants and then moved on to work at Parmalat as an Accountant from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2007, Ben worked at Lend Lease, first as a Retail Manager and then as a Centre Manager. In 2008, they joined The GPT Group as a General Manager, and later became the Divisional Director for Highpoint from 2015 to 2017. In 2018, they took on the role of Head of Digital and Marketing, Retail at The GPT Group, and then transitioned to become the Head of Customer Technology from 2018 to 2019. Ben also held various board positions, serving as a Board Member at Somerville Community Services in 2008, St Philips College in Alice Springs from 2010 to 2014, and Yeperenye Pty Ltd from 2020. Currently, they serve as the Head of Country - Australia & New Zealand and Head of Asia Pacific at BrainBox AI, starting from 2020.

Ben Gill has a diverse educational background. In 1996, they started their undergraduate education and obtained a Bachelor of Business (BBUS) degree, majoring in Accounting, and minoring in Business Law and Economics. Ben completed their undergraduate studies in 1998. In 2001, Ben pursued further education and completed the CPA Program at CPA Australia, becoming a Certified Practising Accountant.

In 2003, they embarked on a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which they completed in 2005. During this time, they also obtained a certification as a Real Estate Agent from the Real Estate Institute of Victoria (REIV) in 2007.

In 2016, Ben attended the Australian Institute of Company Directors and completed the Company Director's Course, earning the qualification of GAICD (Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors).

Additionally, Ben has obtained several certifications later in their career. In September 2018, they acquired credentials in "Customer-Centric IT Strategy" and "Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals" from the University of Virginia.
