M Anthony Lewis

M Anthony Lewis is a seasoned expert in robotics, artificial intelligence, and neuromorphic computation, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at BrainChip since November 2023. Previously, Lewis held the position of VP and Global Head of the Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Compute Lab at HP, where leadership encompassed deep learning and robotics research. With extensive experience in academia as an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona and in various roles at leading tech companies, Lewis has made significant contributions to neuroscience-inspired robotics and has secured numerous research awards. Education includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering focused on Robotics and Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, along with multiple degrees in Cybernetics and Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
