Ashwin Ramanathan

Ashwin Ramanathan is a Senior Autonomy Engineer at Brain Corp, with a career spanning from June 2021 to the present. Previously, Ashwin held the titles of Autonomy Engineer II, Autonomy Engineer I, and Software Engineer in R&D within the same company. Prior experience includes serving as a Design Engineer at International Biomedical, where responsibilities included leading the development of a PID control loop for thermal regulation in neonatal medical devices and leveraging data analysis tools for optimization. Ashwin also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, focusing on the design and prototyping of motor housing for robotic exoskeletons using finite element analysis, and as an Engineering Design Intern at Ascendant Engineering Solutions, leading mechanical design for an avionics project. Ashwin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
