Kai-Chieh

Kai-Chieh Ma is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the field of robotics and autonomy. Currently serving as a Senior Autonomy Engineer at Brain Corp since June 2018, responsibilities include working on SLAM technology. Previously, roles at Brain Corp included Autonomy Engineer II and Robotics Software Engineer, focusing on motion planning. Prior to Brain Corp, Kai-Chieh held the position of Robotics Software Engineer at TuSimple, where work involved developing planner software systems for autonomous trucks. Experience also includes serving as a Research Assistant at the Robotic Embedded Systems Laboratory at USC, conducting research on planning and learning for autonomous aquatic vehicles. Earlier career experience includes a Software Engineer role at CyberLink, contributing to the development of PowerDVD products, which received Taiwan Excellence Awards. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from National Taiwan University.
