Ryan Lustig

Ryan Lustig has a strong background in software engineering, particularly in the field of robotics and autonomy. Ryan currently works at Brain Corp as the Director of Robot Software Engineering, a role they have held since January 2024. Prior to this, they were a Senior Manager of Apps & Autonomy at Brain Corp from January 2022 to January 2024. Ryan also served as a Technical Lead Manager at Brain Corp from April 2021 to December 2021 and as a Senior Autonomy Lead from July 2020 to April 2021. Before joining Brain Corp, Ryan worked at GoPro as a Manager of Advanced Algorithms from July 2016 to May 2018. Ryan also held the position of Technical Lead at GoPro from August 2015 to July 2016 and was a Senior Software Engineer from May 2014 to August 2015. In addition, Ryan has experience at Integrity Applications Incorporated as a Video and Image Processing Manager from July 2012 to May 2014 and as a Software Engineer specializing in signal and image processing from April 2007 to June 2012. Ryan began their professional career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at General Atomics from June 2003 to September 2005. Ryan's educational background includes being a Graduate Researcher at UC San Diego from November 2005 to March 2007 and a Computer Vision Robotics Researcher at UC San Diego from January 2004 to June 2005.

Ryan Lustig has a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego, which they obtained between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering from UC San Diego from 2001 to 2005. Before their undergraduate studies, they attended Bellarmine College Preparatory between 1997 and 2001. Additionally, Ryan Lustig obtained the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification from the California Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in June 2005.
