IoT Solution Team manager at Braincube

Matthieu Herwegh has a diverse work experience that spans across multiple industries and roles. Matthieu started their career as a Manutentionnaire at Velay Bernard in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they served as the Vice President of Le Studio, a club focused on photography and videography at Polytech Lille. In 2015, they also worked as a Chargé d'étude système at RATP for a short period.

In 2016, Matthieu had the opportunity to work as a Firmware and Hardware Designer at Schneider Electric, and simultaneously served as an Elected member of the School Council and Administration at Polytech'Lille, where they advocated for student rights and improvements.

In 2017, they joined National Instruments as an Application Engineer, where they completed a 6-month internship focused on energy efficiency in buildings. Matthieu programmed a home automation model using LabVIEW RealTime to demonstrate how intelligent control of appliances can optimize energy consumption.

From 2016 to 2017, Matthieu held two positions at BNEI - Bureau National des Elèves Ingénieurs, first as a Chargé de mission Partenariat, and later as the Treasurer. In these roles, they managed budgets at both the national and regional levels and coordinated various events.

In 2017, they also started to work at Engie as an Ingénieur solutions Blu.e. Matthieu'sresponsibilities included working closely with clients to collect and analyze data from industrial machines, and developing energy efficiency practices.

Starting in 2019, Matthieu took on additional roles. Matthieu worked as the President of Polytech Alumni, a federation of alumni associations for Polytech schools. In this position, they managed the federation's team, led the board of directors, and focused on activities such as brand development, professional integration of young graduates, and lifelong support for all alumni.

Since 2019, Matthieu has also been working at Braincube. Initially, they worked as a Connectivity Expert and later transitioned to the role of IoT Solution Team Manager in March 2022.

Matthieu Herwegh completed their education from 2012 to 2017 at Polytech Lille, where they obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Informatique electronique automatisme. In addition, they earned a certification as a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer from National Instruments in July 2017.
