Jayson Swanson

Jayson Swanson has a diverse work experience in the field of mathematics education and writing. Jayson started their career as an Adjunct Mathematics Instructor at NJIT in 2007 and continued in the same role at Essex County College from 2009 to 2013. Jayson then worked as a Mathematics Instructor at Bergen Community College from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Jayson joined C2 Education as a Mathematics Tutor for a brief period of 6 months. Jayson also worked as a Freelance Writer for various online companies from 2014 to 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Data Processor at JAM Paper and Envelope from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they joined Columbia University in the City of New York as a Mathematics Instructor and worked there until 2017. Currently, Jayson is working as an Academic Manager at Brainfuse, a position they have held since October 2016.

Jayson Swanson has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Applied Mathematics from Drew University, which they obtained from 1998 to 2002. Jayson then pursued further education and received a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from New Jersey City University, completing their studies from 2006 to 2007. Jayson continued their academic journey by obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Applied Mathematics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they pursued from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they have a certification as a Standard Certificate for Teacher of Mathematics from the State of New Jersey.
