Mark Schmit

Mark Schmit has worked in the education industry since 1987. Mark began their career as a Mathematics Department Chairperson/Instructor at The Elgin Academy. Mark then worked as a Mathematics and Science Teacher at Montini Catholic High School from 1992 to 1994. After that, they worked as a Math Teacher and Team Coordinator at Indian Prairie School District from 1994 to 1999. From 1999 to 2004, they worked as a Test Development Spec. Level III at Riverside Publishing. From 2004 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Product Manager-Math and Product Development Manager at ETA hand2mind. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Director of Content Development, STEM at MPS North America. Mark is currently the Vice President Education at Brainingcamp, a position they have held since 2018.

Mark Schmit obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from North Central College between 1984 and 1987. Mark then went on to earn a Master of Education degree in Teaching and Leadership from Saint Xavier University between 1995 and 1997.
