Berkol Görür

Berkol Görür is an experienced software engineer at Brainlab since March 2020. Previously, Berkol worked as a working student at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. from September 2018 to May 2019, where the master’s thesis focused on model-based reinforcement learning for non-prehensile manipulation of deformable objects, combining the PI-REM algorithm with iLQR to enhance policy improvement. An internship at Technische Universität München from April 2018 to August 2018 involved research on hand pose evaluation using a deep metric learning approach, implementing an enhanced cross-modal correspondence autoencoder algorithm. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich (2016-2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boğaziçi University (2011-2016), complemented by a high school diploma from Istanbul Erkek Lisesi (2006-2011).
