Joyce P. Ward

Joyce P. Ward is an experienced Deep Brain Stimulation Consultant at Brainlab since October 2017, focusing on cultivating strategic relationships and providing extensive training and consultation for image-guided surgery across various medical applications. Prior to this, Joyce served as a Mental Health Specialist at the Institute For Neuropsychiatry, where the development of progress plans for diverse patient populations was a key responsibility. Early career experience includes an Engineering Intern position at Laitram, where Joyce designed an ergonomic tool storage solution leading to significant productivity improvements, and a Graduate Student Researcher role at the Translational Biophotonics Laboratory, addressing image processing challenges in cancer biopsies. Joyce's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science and Engineering degree, both from Tulane University.
