Michael Ruemelin

Michael Ruemelin is an accomplished leader in radiation oncology sales, currently serving as the Director of Sales for Asia Pacific at Brainlab since May 2014. In this role, Michael oversees sales efforts aimed at reducing the cancer burden in the region by working collaboratively with local teams, partners, and distributors to enhance radiotherapy capabilities. Prior to this position, Michael served as Sales Manager and Area Sales Manager at Brainlab, where responsibilities included expanding sales and marketing support across the Asia Pacific, specifically in Australia and New Zealand. Michael's career began in the clinical field, with a strong foundation as a Senior Radiation Therapist at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and as a Radiation Therapist at Austin Health, where expertise in head and neck radiation therapy and involvement in clinical research were developed. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Radiation Therapy from RMIT University.
