Sem Belay

Sem Belay is a Biomedical Engineer currently working as a Support Specialist at Brainlab since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Biological System Analysis course at the University of Illinois Chicago from May 2021 to December 2021, where support was provided to 45-50 students in MATLAB coding and various mathematical and scientific concepts. Sem also completed a Research Internship, focusing on the review of articles related to microvascular diseases and the venous system, while collaborating on team projects. Sem holds a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago, completed in May 2022.
