Pierre Walrafen is an accomplished professional in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Head of Startup Programs at Brain&Mind since October 2024. Previously, Pierre co-founded Scipio Bioscience in May 2017, where Pierre held the position of CEO, successfully developing a single-cell sequencing kit and building a diverse team while securing significant funding. Pierre's extensive experience includes roles such as patent practitioner at EGYP – Ernest Gutmann – Yves Plasseraud S.A.S., IP Manager and R&D Alliance Manager at Genomic Vision, and various academic positions in research and teaching. Pierre holds a PhD in Biology and Biotechnology from Université Paris Cité and has significant qualifications in intellectual property through the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies.
