Beatriz Teixeira

Beatriz Teixeira has a diverse work experience in research and development roles. Beatriz began their career as a Summer Intern at Universidade de Coimbra in 2019, where they focused on improving a computational model using C++. In 2021, they worked as a Research & Development Intern at Philips, where they completed their master thesis project. Their responsibilities included conducting in-depth literature studies, simulating ECG data, and analyzing different signal processing techniques using MATLAB. Beatriz then joined Accenture in 2022 as an Application Development Associate Trainee. Currently, they are working at BRAINOMIX as a Junior Algorithm Researcher, starting in August 2022.

Beatriz Teixeira completed their Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra from 2016 to 2021. Beatriz also pursued a field of study in Innovation and Health Care at Copenhagen Business School in 2020. In addition, they studied Biomedical/Medical Engineering at KU Leuven from 2019 to 2020. Beatriz has obtained certifications in Convolutional Neural Networks, AI for Medical Diagnosis, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera, with the most recent certification obtained in July 2022.
