Jamila W.

Jamila W. started their work experience in 2011 as an Academic Tutor while self-employed. From 2016 to 2017, they co-founded and served as the Director of Operations at AdmissionSquad. In 2017, they founded Citi Prep and worked as its Founder until 2020. In 2019, they were a User Experience Researcher at Pixels for Humans from July to December. Jamila also worked as a User Experience Researcher at Weirdo from November 2019 to August 2020. Since 2019, Jamila has been associated with BrainPOP, initially as a Product Design Intern from November 2019 to September 2020, then as an Associate Product Designer from September 2020 to March 2021, and currently as a Product Designer from March 2021 onwards.

Jamila W. began their education at Brooklyn Technical High School from 2006 to 2010, where they earned their High School Diploma with a focus on Architectural Engineering. Jamila then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Technology/Technician at the New York Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2011. Following this, Jamila attended Kingsborough Community College from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree in Mathematics. In 2019, they furthered their education at The City University of New York, earning a Certificate in UX Design.
