Marley Zeno

Senior Professional Learning Strategist at BrainPOP

Marley Zeno's work experience includes various roles in education and communication. In 2010, they worked as a Grants Intern for Senator Maria Cantwell. In 2011, they held positions such as a Communications Assistant at Education Sector, a News Intern at The Stranger, and an Associate at Recharge. They also taught second grade at Temple Beth Am Religious School during this time. From 2011 to 2012, Marley worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at Hunter College. In 2012, they joined the NYC Department of Education as a Second Grade ENL Teacher and later became an ELL Coordinator, a role they held until 2019. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Research Associate at SupportEd, LLC before joining BrainPOP as a Professional Learning Strategist, ELL in 2021.

Marley Zeno completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Politics at Oberlin College from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, Marley pursued further education at Hunter College, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from 2012 to 2014. In September 2012, Marley obtained a certification as a Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages, K-12, from the New York State Education Department.
