Robert Miller has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Robert began their career as a teacher in Volusia County Schools in 1994 and taught 4th and 5th grades for 21 years. During their teaching career, they actively contributed to the development of content within their district, for the state of Florida, and with science and technology companies. In 2000, they took on a role as a Project Educator at Wolfsonian-FIU until 2001. In 2013, they served as a Content Consultant at Kno, Inc. before its acquisition by Intel. Currently, they are employed by BrainPOP, where they hold the role of Lead Learner, providing professional development and guidance to teachers, schools, and districts. Robert started in June 2016 and continues to excel in this position.

Robert Miller earned their M.Ed degree in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Louisiana Monroe, where they studied from 1987 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they were recognized as a "20 to Watch" Educator by the National School Boards Association. In the same year, they were also named an Apple Distinguished Educator. In 2011, they became a Google Certified Teacher and a YouTube Star Teacher.
