Iren Basanov has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. They started their career as a Research Assistant and Clinical Research Associate at Mindsense Biosystems Ltd. in 2000. Later, they worked as a Clinical Research Associate at Omnicare, a CVS Health company, from 2003 to 2006.
In 2006, Iren joined GCP Clinical Studies as a Senior Clinical Research Associate and continued in this role until 2010. During this time, they gained valuable experience in managing and conducting clinical trials.
In 2010, Iren joined ICON plc as a Senior Clinical Research Associate and subsequently became a Lead CRA. They later advanced to the role of a Regional Clinical Trial Manager, where they led clinical operations, managed project teams, and ensured compliance with quality standards and study contracts. This position lasted until 2017.
From 2017 to 2021, Iren worked at Medinol as a Global Clinical Trials Project Manager. They were responsible for managing trials conducted in the US, EU, and Israel, overseeing all aspects from study design to contract agreements and study analysis.
Currently, Iren holds the position of Director of Clinical Trials at BrainQ Technologies, starting in 2021.
Iren Basanov obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Certified BSN Registered Nursing from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. In 1996 to 1998, they pursued an Advanced Combined Intensive Care Course (Cardiac, Respiratory and Neurology) at Sheba Medical Center, resulting in a degree in ICCU Registered Nursing. In 2007, Iren earned a certification as a Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) from GCP Ltd.
