Jim Bennett

Jim Bennett is a seasoned web development professional with extensive experience in education and practical application within the field. Currently serving as Lead Educator and Team Lead for Web Development at BrainStation since February 2020, Jim has also held positions as an Associate Educator at the same institution. Previous experience includes leading web development instruction at RED Academy and working as a WordPress Developer at Build Creative Websites, where custom website creation was a primary focus. Jim's background includes frontend web development roles at Redstamp Agency and Advisor Websites, as well as web development tasks with Qwick Media and Vancouver Media Group. Additionally, Jim has a unique background as a bassist for The Paperboys, a Canadian folk music band. Jim's education includes studies at McGill University and Vancouver Island University.
