Omeed Asadi

Omeed Asadi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product design and user experience. Currently serving as Director of Product Design at Interac Corp. since April 2023 and holding the interim title of VP & Head of Product Design, Omeed also contributes as Lead Instructor in UX Design at BrainStation. Additionally, as a Mentor at Elevate, guidance is provided to startups and entrepreneurs in UX/UI, User Research, and Product Design. Previously, Omeed served as Senior Manager of Product Design at OCS Ontario Cannabis Store, where notable achievements include winning over five design awards and leading product design for B2B and B2C platforms. Other roles include founding sherpa.tax, a startup focused on tax eligibility, and positions at RBCx, Tim Hortons, and Arcane, showcasing a robust background in digital marketing and product management. Omeed holds an Honors Bachelor degree in Communications and Marketing from York University.
