Joe Finlayson

Joe Finlayson has over 20 years of experience in various technology and business development roles. Joe is currently the SVP Technology Partnerships at BrainStorm Inc. Prior to that, they worked as the VP, Strategy and Alliances at Traction Guest from March 2020 to April 2022. From 2018 to 2020, they served as the Global Head of Enterprise Technology Partnerships at WeWork, leading the Enterprise Technology Business Development and Alliances team. Joe joined WeWork through the acquisition of Teem Technologies, Inc., where they were the VP, Business Development & Alliances. Joe played a key role in growing the business and contributed to WeWork's decision to acquire Teem. Before Teem, they worked at Symantec as the Global Director, Cyber Security Business Development & Alliances, and at Microsoft as the Director, IoT Business Development & Alliances. Joe started their career at Dell as a Product Marketing Manager (MBA Intern) and later worked at Intel as a Program Marketing Manager.

Joe Finlayson's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, which they earned from the University of Utah. Joe attended this university from 1993 to 1997. Continuing their education, Joe pursued a Master's of Arts degree in Organizational Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University, from 1998 to 1999. Lastly, Joe completed their education with a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) from the Texas McCombs School of Business, where they studied from 2003 to 2005.
