Amit Varma

Amit Varma has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amit began their career in 1998 as a Senior Manager at IDBI Bank, where they managed various aspects of compensation, benefits, pension, stock options, and resource management. During their time there, they played a crucial role in the successful implementation of the project 'speed' that resulted in a doubling of the bank's branches and employees in just 6 months.

In 2004, Amit moved to Adventity as the Vice President of Human Resources. Amit established the people function and significantly improved employee engagement from 52% to 88%. Under their leadership, Adventity was recognized as the emerging company of the year and one of the top 25 best-managed outsourcing companies globally.

In 2007, Amit joined Vista Projects as the Head of Corporate Development. Amit built a high-performance team and successfully obtained ISO 9000:2008 certification for operations, mitigating revenue risks. Vista Projects received accolades as a Best Employer and Best-Managed Company in Canada.

Building upon their entrepreneurial spirit, Amit founded Veerum in 2014 and served as its Founder until 2018. During their tenure, they spearheaded the company's growth and played a key role in establishing its presence in the market.

In 2018, Amit co-founded Braintoy and holds the position of Co-Founder.

Amit Varma completed their Master of Management Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya between 1993 and 1998. In 2006, they attended the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management for a Global Advanced Management Program, specializing in International Business.
