Simaran Jaira

Simaran Jaira has worked in various roles since 2016. In 2021, they began working as a Product Manager at Braive, and as a Master Thesis Student at Tibber, where they are developing trading strategies to minimize imbalance cost in the day-ahead market, an intraday market, and imbalance settlement. In 2020, they worked as a Business Analysis Intern at ABB, performing a business analysis and competitor analysis about the feasibility of a consortium with a special focus on regional characteristics of the market in Europe and the America. In 2019, they worked as a Competitor Analysis Intern at Deep Neuron Lab, identifying competitors and evaluating their strategies. In 2018, they worked as a Digital Forensics at the National Informatics Centre, MeitY, studying existing anti-counterfeit technologies and reviewing applications filed under article 79-A of the Indian IT Act for Forensic assessment. In 2017, they worked as a Research Fellowship at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, developing a pre-processing algorithm based on ICA and performing Bayesian Estimation in passive radar systems. In 2016, they worked as an Editor at Review It Nerd, where they conceptualized, planned and executed original designs for a wide range of website properties.

Simaran Jaira has a comprehensive educational background. Simaran began their studies in 2015 when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. In 2019, they completed a Master of Science in ICT Innovation and Intelligent Autonomous Systems from Technische Universität Berlin. In 2020, they attended a Summer School in Big Data Analytics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Simaran is currently pursuing a Master's degree in ICT Innovation and Intelligent Autonomous Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
