Stuart Smith

Stuart Smith currently serves as the Vice President of Merchandising at Sysco, a position held since January 2022, and is also the Merchandising Director for Sysco GB. Previously, Stuart was the UK Merchandising Director and a Board Director at Brakes Group from January 2006 onwards, and served as the UK Procurement Director, contributing as a Board member. Stuart held the role of Group Commercial, Marketing, and UK Supply Chain Director at the British Frozen Food Federation from November 2016 to January 2025, also acting as a Board Member. Furthermore, Stuart was a Board member at Menigo Foodservice AB from January 2014 to June 2016 and worked as a Senior Buyer in Fresh Produce at Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd from 1993 to 2001. Stuart holds a degree in Business and Law from Leicester University, completed between 1990 and 1993.
