Benjamin Schmitt is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Brale, a position held since 2026. Prior to this role, Benjamin served as the CISO at Mary Greeley Medical Center from 2022 to 2026. Benjamin has extensive experience in information security, having held various leadership roles including Vice President of Product and Information Security at Dwolla from 2014 to 2022 and Global Director of IT Security and Compliance at Danfoss from 2013 to 2014. Earlier in their career, Benjamin worked as a Senior Programmer for the University of Wisconsin-Madison Athletic Department from 1998 to 2001, and had a foundational role as a Security Architect at TDS Telecom from 2001 to 2008. Benjamin is also pursuing education at UW Madison.
