Simon Barber MCIPS is an experienced procurement professional with a strong track record in strategic sourcing and supplier management. Currently serving as Senior Director of Procurement for Europe and Senior Director of Global Procurement for Indirects at Brambles since February 2015, Simon focuses on creating value through effective stakeholder and supplier partnerships. Previously, Simon held the role of Director of Global Procurement - Indirects, overseeing a team of Global Category Managers and driving cost reduction initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Manager for Indirect Procurement at CHEP Europe Ltd and various managerial positions at CHEP, contributing to procurement strategies and operational efficiencies. Simon holds an MCIPS degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions, and Contracts Management from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
