Anand Parthasarathy

Anand Parthasarathy is the current Principal at BranchPattern, a position they have held since May 2014. Prior to this, they were a Senior Associate (Sustainable Design) at CPG Corporation from February 2010 to May 2014 where they provided LEED & Green Mark consulting for various projects in the region and led a team that managed consultancy contracts involving design, bidding, negotiations and construction administration. From December 2007 to February 2009, Anand was an Architect / LEED Consultant at Dewberry where they coordinated LEED certification efforts for various projects in the Dallas office and prepared marketing proposals and feasibility studies for potential LEED/sustainability projects. Their first job out of college was as a Graduate Intern at BNIM Architects from June 2006 to August 2006 where they performed sustainable design analyses for various projects and assisted with marketing proposals. While attending The University of Texas at Austin for their Master's degree, Anand worked as a Senior Student Associate & Graduate Research / Teaching Assistant from October 2005 to December 2007 and also taught as an Adjunct Lecturer at BCA Academy from June 2012 to May 2014. Anand began their career in 2002 as an Architect / Passive Design Consultant at LSBW where they worked until 2005.

Anand Parthasarathy's educational career began with a Bachelor of Architecture from Thiagarajar College of Engineering. Anand then went on to earn a Master of Science in Sustainable Design from The University of Texas at Austin. In addition to their academic degrees, Anand Parthasarathy is also certified by AABC COMMISSIONING GROUP as a CxA, ASHRAE as a Member, BCA Academy as a Certified Green Mark Manager (GMM), Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Mumbai, India as an Associate, Council of Architecture, New Delhi, India as a Registered Architect, Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) as a LEED AP (BD+C), and International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) as a WELL AP.
