Mike Parker is currently the Associate Principal at BranchPattern. Mike has over 25 years of experience in the engineering industry, with a focus on mechanical engineering.

Mike started their career as a co-op at Omaha Public Power District, before becoming a Thermal Energy System Development Engineer at Black & Veatch. Mike then spent 11 years at Procter & Gamble as their Plant Capital Systems Manager, before moving to ConAgra Foods as their Commercialization Manager. In 2016, Mike took on the role of Manager, Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Mike was responsible for leading the mechanical engineering team for 7 million square feet of education, research and healthcare facilities. During their time at UNMC, Mike was also the project manager for $4 million worth of MEP projects per year, as well as the owner's engineer for $30 million worth of capital projects per year.

In 2020, Mike joined BranchPattern as their Associate Principal. In this role, they are responsible for leading and managing all aspects of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for projects across the United States.

Throughout their career, Mike has been responsible for overseeing various new construction projects, renovations, and upgrades. Mike is a people manager and leader, and has coached and mentored many engineers and maintenance teams throughout their career. Mike Parker has a BSME from Iowa State University and is certified from the Project Management Institute in PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Professional) and Project Management Professional. Mike is also certified from the State Board of Ohio in Professional Engineer.
