Ryan Baumgart

Ryan Baumgart is the Associate Principal at BranchPattern. Ryan has previous experience working as a Project Engineer at Forte Building Science, M.E. GROUP, and Premier Energy Services. At Premier Energy Services, they were responsible for document creation and management, coordination with the commissioning team and building owner, guidance of commissioning meetings, site observations, performing pre-functional and functional performance testing, supervision of functional performance testing, documentation of staff training, and seasonal commissioning activities. Ryan also has experience in energy service duties such as troubleshooting of inefficient systems, evaluation of sequence of operations programing, trend data analysis and review, and creation of custom spreadsheet programs designed to identify inconsistences revealed by field measurements. In addition to their engineering experience, Ryan has also designed spreadsheet programs to perform thermodynamic, psychometric, and electrical calculations with the goal of boosting the efficiency of all field related activities.

Ryan Baumgart holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University. Ryan is a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) through AABC COMMISSIONING GROUP and a LEED AP BD+C through USGBC. Ryan is also a Professional Engineer (PE) through DORA and a WELL AP through International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).

Ryan Baumgart reports to Rick Maniktala, Principal & President. They are on a team with Marcel Harmon - Associate Principal, Ayracon Almaraz - Senior Associate, and Pete Jefferson - Principal.
