Efren Narvaez

Efren Narvaez has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and leadership. Efren started their career as a Business Process Analyst at Funeraria Jaramillo in 2016. Efren then worked as a Java Software Engineer at UTPL from 2015 to 2017. Later, they joined Tipti S.A. as a Lead Backend Developer from 2017 to 2021. In 2021, they worked as a Tech Lead at Kushki before returning to Tipti S.A. as an Engineering Leader. In 2022, they became an Engineering Manager at Riogrande (YCW21). In 2023, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Forum Brands and is currently serving as the Head of Engineering LATAM at Brandable.

Efren Narvaez attended the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Grado en Ingeniería in Ingeniería de sistemas. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Cloud & DevOps: Transformación Continua from MIT Professional Education, Curso Profesional de Scrum from Platzi, and Curso de Engineering Management from Platzi in 2022, 2021, and 2020 respectively. Efren also holds certifications such as Certified Scrum Developer from Scrum Alliance in 2020, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional and MTA: Software Development Fundamentals from Microsoft in 2014.
