Travis Cashion has a diverse work experience. Travis is currently working as a Software Engineer SE II at Brandfolder since February 2022. Before that, they worked at Ibotta, Inc. as a Full Stack Software Engineer from October 2020 to February 2022. At Ibotta, they led the technical integration during the acquisition of a competing browser extension, resulting in a show-ready experience deployed to users within 6 weeks. Travis also improved reliability, maintainability, and performance by replacing complex routing and logic with a state management library.

Travis also has experience as a Software Engineering Fellow at General Assembly from April 2020 to July 2020, where they gained hands-on experience with front-end and back-end technologies. Travis worked at Graebel Companies, Inc. as a Senior Global Household Goods Specialist from September 2013 to April 2020, where they handled complex household goods moves and provided excellent customer service.

Other roles they have held include Noxious Weed Technician at the State of Colorado from April 2018 to September 2018, Services Manager - Games at The Summit Windsor from February 2017 to April 2018, State Policy Intern at Backcountry Hunters & Anglers from November 2016 to February 2017, and Integrated Pest Management/Biological Sciences Technician at the City of Boulder from April 2016 to November 2016. Travis also worked as an intern at the Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) at the State of Colorado from June 2013 to August 2013, where they supported staff in advancing economic development initiatives. Travis researched and analyzed country-specific data pertaining to Colorado-based exports and wrote detailed reports on international trade patterns and export opportunities.

Travis Cashion completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Affairs from the University of Colorado Boulder. Later in 2020, they attended General Assembly, where they pursued a Software Engineering Immersive program with a focus on Full-Stack Software Engineering. Along with their formal education, Travis also obtained additional certifications in Go Design Patterns and Learning Go from LinkedIn, which they acquired in August 2022 and April 2022, respectively.
