Eric Samek is a finance professional with extensive experience in real estate and investment management. As the Founder of Brasa Capital Management since January 2018, Eric has established a significant presence in the industry. Prior to this role, Eric served as the Head of the Western US for AEW Capital Management’s Opportunity Fund from January 2008 to December 2018. Eric's experience also includes serving as Director for Real Estate Private Equity Investments at Broadreach Capital Partners and as an Associate at McCown De Leeuw & Co. Early in Eric's career, experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs provided a strong foundation. Eric Samek holds a Master of Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
