Brasuda is a privately owned South African Pasture Seed company established in 2013. Brasuda has a specialized team of experts, including but not limited to an agronomist and South Africa’s single most qualified feeding nutritionist, Dr. Conrad Coetzer (PPM, PhD, Pri.Sci.Nat.), who combines modern science with traditional breeding methods to create top quality and high yielding forage varieties.

Brasuda boasts with a catalogue of over 50 specialized farming products including Annual Grass, Perennial Grass, Perennial Sorghum, Legumes, Perennial Mixtures, Cover Crops, Fertilizer and Farming Equipment. Brasuda further specializes in producing niche Forage Crops and Cover Crops with a choice selection of products specifically catered to each farmer’s individual needs.

Brasuda’s headquarters are situated in Gauteng, but we have numerous dedicated and knowledgeable representatives all over South Africa to assist you with your enquiries. We also distribute seeds to the rest of Africa per request.

Brasuda’s ethos is to focus on the farmer. As a result, our experts actively engage with the farmers to attend to all their enquiries, to assist them with selecting the best varieties for their region and to provide guidance and support throughout the process. We further aim to contribute to the long term food security of farm animals in South Africa by supplying large amounts of quality forage seeds at affordable prices.

Brasuda has acquired the sole right to distribute Matsuda’s products throughout Africa. Matsuda is a worldwide leader in the production of tropical forage products which includes high quality tropical pasture seeds, coated and treated seeds, animal nutritional products etc.
