BRAVE is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to empowering and educating women concerning their Breast Reconstruction Rights when diagnosed with Breast Cancer.   Many women are being left to suffer from the physical and emotional effects of cancer, long after the cancer is gone because they did not have the optimal time or resources to make the best choice for their appearance after breast cancer.
 
In an effort to support these women, we have sought to introduce legislation which would require physicians to provide patients with information regarding their rights to breast reconstruction.  A similar bill had previously passed in New York and so far only one other state. 
 
Knowing that something else had to be done, we created an educational site www.myreconstrutionrights.org to at least inform patients.
