Candace Pickering

Candace Pickering is an experienced leadership coach and education specialist with a diverse background in employee experience and program management. Currently serving as a Leadership Coach at Braven, Candace works with underrepresented young people at Rutgers University to facilitate their transition from college to careers. As a Culture & Climate Specialist for the Irvington School Board, Candace leads initiatives to enhance learning environments and implement social-emotional learning programs. Previous roles include Employee Experience Manager and Workplace Experience Manager at Hinge, where Candace developed strategies to improve employee engagement and support organizational growth. Candace's early career involved significant contributions to youth and community programming within various YMCA branches. Academically, Candace holds certifications in HR Management and Executive Leadership in Nonprofit Organizations, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
